A message from Bradford Connatser, Publications Manager
Thank you for your interest in the technical writer/editor position at EPRI PEAC Corporation. To be considered for the position, you must submit your resume and some samples of your work (see the ad for the position at the bottom of this page). You must also complete an editing test and an application form.
About the Editing Test
The test is designed to yield a coarse indication of your potential as a technical editor at EPRI PEAC Corporation. Of course, the test will determine your mastery of grammar and mechanics, but it will also determine your understanding of the editing process, your familiarity with the subject of electricity, your ability to provide useful (and tactful) recommendations for change to the author, your ability to determine the proper level of technical detail for the intended audience, and your insight into the way language works during the reading process.
The editing test will be timed. You can take the test online or schedule an appointment to take the test with pencil and paper by calling 865-218-8009.
